Built in 1910 on the initiative of the department store "Bon Marche", the hotel Lutetiawas the first art-deco hotel in Paris. Located in the heart of Saint-Germain des Prés, it witnesses the artistic revival of the inter-war years, and accommodated numerous noted painters and writers such as Picasso and Matisse.
The designer Sybille de Margerie took particular care in giving life again to the luxuriousness of the 30's period and has created a new harmony between blond and acajou mahogany to create a very contemporary décor. All rooms are air conditioned and sound-proof, and offer direct telephone in room and bathroom, 220 voltage, hairdryer, individual safe, computer hook-ups, minibar, radio, television, pay-TV, non smoking rooms, 24-hour room service.
